Scullery Regatta

Over the bank holiday the Boat Club were due to have two events to kick off the summer racing season. Unfortunately, due to rain Evesham regatta was cancelled but took make the most of the Saturday afternoon sun an impromptu BBQ and paddle was organised. Families and friends joined in on the fun and the pupils got to have lots of fun in different boats and crews.

On Monday three crews attended The Junior Sculling Regatta at Dorney Lake. The J15 boy's quad and girl’s double showed brilliant determination however were pipped to the finals by some strong opposition. Meanwhile the J14 boy’s quad performed fantastically but unfortunately missed the A final by 0.04s!

It was great to be at the club’s first race of the summer season despite the less sunny conditions. Everyone had a fun day watching and participating in the racing. The Boat Club are raring to go and ready to continue the competitions.
