KSW Indoor Competition

The rowers started their competition season off with a bang at the Indoor Competition at King’s School Worcester. The competition saw all our athletes compete in the individual 500m and a 2k team relay. With a total of 10 medals won it was a spectacular performance.  

Congratulations to everyone who competed, especially to our 3rd form who have only been rowing for two weeks and were up against athletes who have been rowing since September or event longer! For the 500m events Hamish and Tibault (3F, Southwood) placed 1st and 3rd respectively, and Tensie (4F, College Lawn) secured 3rd.  

The team relays saw a medals for almost every team! Silver for the J14 boys, J15 boys, J15 mixed team, J16 boys and J16 girls. Bronze went to the J14 mixed team and the J15 girls. We are excited to see what the future events will bring after such a strong start.
